Minor To Moderate Flood Warning For The Darling River

MODERATE FLOODING OCCURRING AT LOUTH, MINOR FLOODING CURRENT AT BOURKE AND TILPA
Minor flooding continues to ease along the Darling River at Bourke where river levels peaked at 10.95 metres on Wednesday [28/04/2021] last week.
The flood peak along the Darling River is now passing Louth where moderate flooding is occurring.
Moderate flooding is also likely at Tilpa later this week.
A minor flood peak may reach Wilcannia in late May.

Barwon and Darling Rivers downstream of Brewarrina to Bourke:
Minor flooding is easing along the Darling River at Bourke.
The Darling River at Bourke is currently at 10.03 metres and falling, with minor flooding.
River levels at Bourke are expected to fall below the minor flood level (9.5 metres) Thursday night into Friday [07/05/2021].

Darling River downstream of Bourke to Tilpa:
Moderate flooding is occurring along the Darling River at Louth and minor flooding is occurring at Tilpa. .
The Darling River at Louth is currently at 10.19 metres and rising, with moderate flooding.
River levels at Louth are likely to peak near 10.40 metres during Friday [07/05/2021], with moderate flooding.

The Darling River at Tilpa is currently at 10.15 metres and rising, with minor flooding.
River levels at Tilpa are likely to exceed the moderate flood level (10.50 metres) during Friday [07/05/2021], and may reach 10.90 metres during Monday [10/05/2021] with moderate flooding. Predictions will be updated once upstream peaks are observed.

Darling River downstream of Tilpa to Wilcannia:
Minor flooding is likely along the Darling River downstream of Tilpa to Wilcannia.
The Darling River at Wilcannia is currently at 8.70 metres and rising.
The Darling River at Wilcannia is likely to exceed the minor flood level (9.00 metres) during Sunday [09/05/2021]. River levels at Wilcannia may reach around 9.40 metres late May with minor flooding. Predictions will be updated once upstream peaks are observed.
