Final Flood Warning For The Moonie River

River levels have eased below minor flood level on the Moonie River at Nindigully. Downstream river levels will continue to ease along the Moonie River over the next few days.
No significant rainfall has been recorded or is forecast across the catchment for the next few days.

Moonie River downstream of Flinton:
No further flooding is expected in the Moonie River downstream of Flinton.
No current observations are available for the Moonie River at Nindigully Bridge manual gauge. Based on the automatic gauge, river levels are expected to have eased below the minor flood level (2.20 m) at Nindigully Bridge during Sunday.
The river levels are expected to remain below the minor flood level for the rest of the week and continue to fall.

No recent observations are available for the Moonie River at Thallon Bridge manual gauge, however river levels are expected to be below the minor flood level (4.00 m) and falling slowly.
